The Doodle Legacy ~ Chapter 17

Sometimes I never know how to start off these stories so heres a cute recap photo and a recap story from last chapter.  Titus fell in love with and then married Tierra (a cute sim he met in the park as a teen) as seen in the cute, recap photo above. Romance speeds by in the sims. Sadly both Mae and Jamari passed away. Mae due to old age and surprise surprise the cowplant finally managed to eat Jamari properly. The chapter ended with a negative pregnancy for Tierra and Titus which surprisingly is actually my first! We will get to baby making later though, first Tierra has found herself a new job.

Tierra gets a job in the Doctor career because:

1. She looks super cute in scrubs

2. I haven’t played much of the doctor career yet so I thought it would be fun.

Titus doesn’t have a career as he is focusing on his garden at the moment so it should work out pretty well. Titus can be a stay at home daddy when the babies come whilst I leave the lot to help Tierra at the hospital.

The staff already working in the hospital are all eager to meet the newbie.

“Ooh finally some fresh, hot new meat. How you doin’ sweetcheeks?”

“I’m doing great, I recently got married to wonderful man who doesn’t treat me like a piece of ‘meat’. Thanks for asking.”

“Ouch, feisty. I like it!”

“I have work to do. Goodbye.”

“Why hello. Fancy meeting you in my office.”

“You just split your coffee on the floor and told my boss to make me clean it up.”

“Complete accident my dear… oh my what a lovely view…”

“Did you mean to whisper that to yourself? because I can hear everything you are saying.”

Meanwhile back at home in the garden Titus’ plants are really coming on. I don’t think it will be long before he completes the aspiration.

When Tierra gets back from her first day at work she gets a lovely surprise in the bathroom. Tierra is so excited she does all her celebrating before the confetti even hits the floor.

“Ah I am so excited!!”

“…and now I am over it.”

Titus’ reaction is also not what I was expecting.

“Honey this is great news, we wanted to have a baby remember?”

“I have been raised by a family that hates children. This is the only way I know how to react to the news of a baby.”

Thankfully Titus gets over his weird against having a baby behaviour and the couple start acting all cute around each other again.

Generation 4 is on it’s way!

But just because Tierra is pregnant with generation four doesn’t mean she is going to be missing work. This is a sims legacy after all.

Thankfully the creepy doctor got old and retired so we have a nice, new doctor to chat to at work.

In other news, regarding the spares Regina and Lucy have now aged into adults. They both spend the majority of their time working hard on their aspirations.

Occasionally they get some downtime though. Regina invites over friends from work but she can never get a moment of peace with them from her sister.

Lucy: “The evil space monkey Narblarg slid through the legs of the alien emperor Tony Stark before shooting him in the unmentionables 10 times!”

Friend in cream shirt: “Is she talking to us? This isn’t really appropriate dinner conversation.”

Lucy: “No… duh! I am talking to the chairs. They are getting bored of your dinner conversation.”

Regina: *sigh*

I told you it wouldn’t be long! Titus completes the aspiration Freelance Botanist and picks up the collector aspiration to replace it.

Tierras pregnancy speeds by and it isn’t long before she is in labour and heading off to the hospital.

Doctor: “Hey Tierra! In for work? Hehe. Where’s your husband anyway?”

Tierra: “Hey Ginger. He is currently outside having a melt-down which is completely rational because you know it’s him that has to go into that deathtrap machine to have a life removed from him. Tee. Fricking. Hee.”

Doctor: Now I want you to take some deep breaths in and out. This will all be over soon.”

Titus: “Breathing in… and phew.. breath out. Thanks Doctor that really helped my nerves.”

“I was talking to your wife.”

Tierra: “Oh this is not good. Emma is going to be so mad with me.”

What made you think that?

Baby number 1? Who shall now be known as Brian.

Or was it babies number 2 and 3 that you thought would rile me up.

Meet Benjamin and Brandi with an I. Thank the lord one of the triplets is a girl.

Yup just to confirm it’s triplets.

Again.

..Ahem… excuse me whilst I go throw my computer at the nearest wall

I’m just kiddinggg ….I think.

I have plenty of experience with multiple births thanks to this legacy and I have picked up some tricks on the way. I just unplug my headphones and use the power of speed 3 because boy do these babies scream. Not even Tierras silly faces can make them stop.

A little bit of teamwork does wonders when looking after baby triplets. Having a couple of spares in the house is really handy at times like these.

Plus we have plenty of friendly ghosts on hand to help out. Here we have the triplets great grandmother India keeping the babies amused.

When Lucy isn’t helping out with the triplets she is at the computer completing the Computer Whiz aspiration.

Lucy is rewarded with a visit from the girl she had her first kiss with at Tierra and Titus’ wedding. So cute!

Romance is in the air for everyone in the Doodle household.

“Titus sweetie… since the triplets baby phase has went pretty smoothly so far how about we extend the family?”

“I am actually okay with this…for now. I can’t promise I won’t freak out when you come to tell me you are actually pregnant though.”

I like to try and follow what my sims want and Tierra rolled the whim to try for a baby with Titus. So here I am actually pressing the try for baby option with triplets in the next room. What am I doing?

It’s soon time for the triplets to grow up so here are the terribly, awkward photos of them popping out of the crib (they were all facing the wrong way and in a tiny room) and then some proper photos of the makeovers I gave them.

Meet Brandi, she is adorable and I love her already. Brandi is a bookworm with the rambunctious scamp aspiration.

Benjamin is the kid in the red hat and is a glutton like his mother and father because at least one the triplets was bound to get that trait. He rolls the creative aspiration.

The one holding the camera is Brian, the social butterfly of the trio who is cheerful.

Overall the kids are not too shabby.

The kids aged up at the weekend so the family head out to the park to spend some time together before the work/school, sleep, eat, work/school, maybe a little homework, sleep cycle begins. Already the family is too large to fit on one picnic bench.

The kids all head off in different directions and get cracking on their aspirations. Brandi gets the hang of the monkey bars pretty quickly.

Benjamin plays with some clay that he must have shoved in his inventory when I wasn’t looking and Brian harrasses an elderly woman that makes bold fashion choices instead of the cool teenagers that hang out at the park at night.

It was getting pretty late so the squad headed back to the house to hang out with some ghosts. Jamari is always such a helpful ghost taking out the rubbish because the maid never visits.

He also likes to help out his son, Titus, with the garden. I would just like to point out I have no idea why he is angry whilst he does these things. I mean he was whistling happily and chatting to Titus whilst he helped water the plants so I don’t know why he is red. Maybe a ghost fight with his evil ghost wife?

The doodle house gets a new room and it’s popular with the family. This is the new focusing room. Taube over at boolprop gave me the idea for mood rooms in The Gregory Legacy (definitely worth a read btw) and they work great!

Everyone meets in the focusing room. Tierra works on her logic skill, the kids do all their homework on the focusing couch and Titus is a lovely father who comes up to help them all out.

Another sim that loves the focusing room is Lucy who uses it to work on her programming skill. Things get a little tense when the kids try to do their homework in the room at the same time as poor Ben found out.

“You darn kids are always so annoying following me around this house. Can’t I program in peace?!”

“Aunty Lucy I’m not following you… I was told to do my homework in here so I would finish faster.”

“Ha! That’s what they all say. I have been following you, following me so I know you are following me! Who are you working for? The CIA? FBI? ALIENS?!”

“Ugh now I don’t even want to do my homework because I’m so MAD!”

I think it may be time for the aunts to move into a home of their own.

First of all Regina completes the bodybuilder aspiration and gets the fitness skill to level 10.

Her body is now at it’s maximum fitness level and she is kind of scaring me. I definitely wouldn’t want to pick a fight with her.

Lucy had already completed the computer whiz aspiration and after a speedrun of programming until she was very uncomfortable she has now also maxed the programming skill.

Lucy: “The faster I get out of this house the better. Those nasty kids always watching what I do on the computer. Trying to find out my secrets. They have eyes everywhere. Are you working for them Panda?!”

Panda: “I’m not working for anyone Lucy, I just want to be your friend.”

So my plan was to actually let the twins Regina and Lucy get married to their partners that they had already met and were in love with and then move them into a lovely house together. Unfortunately the game had a different plan and deleted both Regina and Lucy’s partners. I wasn’t really in the mood to find new ones so they skipped the first part of my plan and just moved into a lovely house. Sorry guys but at least you have each other. Maybe this is why the game gives me multiple births.

Is that a chocolate cake mix I see? It must be a birthday!

It’s also a really late birthday so if you could stop flirting and speed up the cake making that would be great.

Like mother, like son.

I put the cake on the table and in less than a second he had a slice. You’d think I would learn but I don’t.

Ah well, time to bake a new one Tierra.

Or not… serves you right you greedy glutton.

Titus: *Gasp* “You forgot my birthday!”

*bangs head on desk*

Tierra: “Honey I have some really special, good news on your birthday… we’re pregnant!”

Titus: “Aww… but I thought you said it was good news. Three of them is bad enough as it is.”

Ben: “We are right here y’know.”

Titus is a great father to the triplets so I have no idea why he reacts so badly to the news of a baby. I’m hoping he will warm up to the idea but who knows! You can find out in the next chapter because we are now at the end of chapter 17.

The Doodle Legacy ~ Chapter 16

The doodle legacy is back with more silly stories. Here have a quick recap – Last chapter Mae got promoted, Jamari got really old, the twins grew up into gorgeous young adults and Titus here met potential spouse Tierra Jameson. Titus couldn’t wait to see Tierra again so here she is looking pretty grumpy – she is perfect for this legacy!

“I am so happy you could make it over tonight Tierra”

“I wish I could say the same.”

“You are so cute when you are grumpy.”

However some sweet words from Titus had Tierra grinning like a cheshire cat.

“Teehee stop, you are making me blush Titus.”

The pair headed around the back of the house where it’s really dark (thanks guys) and chose the awkward spot beside the hand eating tree (again thanks guys).

Plant lover Titus gave Tierra a rose…

Then made his first move… D’aww!

All this romance made Titus really tired so he went straight to bed leaving Tierra to wander around the house by herself.

She went straight to the computer, broke it and then proceeded to complain about the fact the computer was broken. At this point I am expecting some sort of hot-headed trait because she gets annoyed very easily.

Titus isn’t the only sim in the doodle house looking for love. Regina goes for a jog every day and whilst she is running we scout out potential spouses.

Erm… maybe not this one.

“Too old.”

I’m not sure this is even possible.

“Like my guns Grimmy?”

“Jeez! I am just going for a quiet walk I promise. Reapers need downtime too. I am not here to take any of your family… I try to avoid the doodle household if I can.”

“I know silly! I just want to be friends.”

“Uh… I have to go.”

Regina wasn’t having much luck during her morning jogs so she went to her favourite lot: the gym. Here she met Colin.

Pro tip – wearing only a towel when greeting potential spouses works wonders for some reason.

It wasn’t long before there were hearts floating around the gym.

Back at home Lucy still spends a lot of time on her computer – in fact she is very protective over her computer and computer time.

“The aliens are coming for my hard drive! I can’t leave my PC alone until the threat is gone.”

Now that Mae has the promotion she needed for the public enemy aspiration she is free to do whatever she wants to do. Turns out Mae really likes video games. This is where the majority of her time is spent.

She even gets upset when other people are playing the video game.

“Oh Jamari I didn’t realise you liked Blik Blok.”

“Neither did I but once I tried it I just couldn’t stop! This is so much fun!”

“Yeah, well you have 5 more minutes before I get angry and unleash the cowplant.”

Oh sugar this looks different this time.

“It was just a joke… I didn’t really tell the cowplant to eat him… I swear.”

Oh Mae is not taking this well. She may have been an evil sim but if there was any one sim she truly loved it was Jamari. This is not going to be a fun few days.

“MUDDY YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO SPIT HIM OUT. YOU ALWAYS SPIT HIM OUT.”

Is it just me or does Muddy look pretty smug?

On a sad side-note Mae has now completed the public enemy aspiration.

Titus: “Hey guys what’s going on?”

Grim Reaper: “Great just what I need, more sobbing family members.”

Titus: “D..D..Dad? Muddy ate dad? I am so sad, Grim hold me!”

Grim Reaper: “Oh brother. Could you hug your mother and not my arm kid? This is uncomfortable enough for me as it is.”

Mae: “This is all my fault I raised this stupid plant.”

Lucy was at work and Regina was away for a jog at this point so they both missed Jamaris awful death.

But don’t worry as soon as Regina got home from the jog the maid keeled over.

Grim: “Are you kidding me? I had just escaped from this house! Come on Mae, rein it in.”

Mae: “This wasn’t even me this time. I’m so sad about Jamari I can’t even enjoy this moment.”

Regina: “Hey guys I am just on my way to work, I am in a pretty good mood so I might even get a promotion.”

Regina: “Oh wait. Nevermind I am pretty sad now.”

“I am so happy I got a promotion at work today! Anything interesting happen at home?”

Regina got a promotion too! I definitely wasn’t expecting that.

Wow… with Mae as heir last generation the doodle graveyard has really filled up.

Muddy gets put into a cage to protect the rest of the doodle family. I can’t have anymore cow plant related deaths.

The next few days in the doodle house were miserable and felt like they lasted forever. I didn’t take many pictures and I have decided to spare myself and you from reading about it. Fast forward a couple of days to Titus’s birthday. I got bored of all the home lot parties so a cake was baked, tossed in someone’s inventory and the family headed over to a bar I can’t remember the name of.

For once the doodles actually have friends and the party looks like a success with everyone dancing! Maybe off home lot parties are the way I should go.

A group of people actually celebrating a birthday? Amazing!

Regina invited her new friend Colin and they flirted in the corner over some chips.

Meanwhile Lucy made some flirty eyes at a cute girl named Hope.

After this everyone headed home tired but happy after a great birthday party!

But as my game goes you can’t have a big, happy birthday party without a family death.

Mae decides to lie down in front of the only door to the bedroom.

“I don’t want anyone to see me like this. They can’t see Grim winning.”

“Hey! Look at me I’m waving! There’s something in front of the door?”

“Gosh I am so mad I can’t get in this room!”

Grim: “Finally this day has come Mae Doodle. No more midnight visits for a sim drowning in a pool or basement visits for poor starving sims. Maybe there will be peace in Willow Creek now.”

“HA! Grim can’t get rid of me that easily. Peace and quiet in Willow Creek? Ha! I think not.”

Mae you are pretty cheerful for someone that just died.

“I don’t know what everyone moans about, being a ghost is awesome! Breaking plumbing, scaring the family, just generally being a pest.”

Since Mae blocked the door of the bedroom where she died no one has any negative moodlets following her death. Plus with Mae back so quickly as a ghost and startling them all the time I think the time for grieving has kind of just been skipped. Life goes back to as normal as it can in the Doodle house.

Regina invites over the guy she has been flirting with for a while, Colin, to make it official.

Regina has her very first kiss out by the pool and after Colin agrees to be Regina’s boyfriend she invites him to stay the night.

The next morning Colin comes for breakfast in his Pajamas. Apparently Regina and Titus aren’t the only ones to wear glasses to bed.

It turns out that Tierra is similar in age to Titus meaning she has also aged up to young adult recently. Obviously this pair is meant to be! Titus invites Tierra out on their first proper date to the spa.

The couple enjoy some massages and fruit drinks together.

Tierra tries her hand at some yoga…

…but Titus has other plans which really annoyed the yoga teacher.

“This is meant to be a place of tranquility and peace not some randy makeout zone. I have a class starting in 5 minutes so scram!”

So they head over to the sauna for some privacy. Uh… guys things are getting a little steamy in here.

“Well duh… it’s a sauna. Now where were we Tierra?”

“Teehee.”

No I mean it’s getting really steamy in here. Guys? Are you listening? You better be behaving in here. It’s a public lot! Do you want the yoga teacher to get REALLY mad?!

Titus heads home looking pretty pleased with himself after a great date.

“Amazing date.”

Yeah, I think you forgot something on your way out.

“Yeah I should have taken Tierra home with me.”

No I meant your clothes.

Titus couldn’t wait to see Tierra again so he invited her out to dinner the next night. I can’t believe I have to deal with two gluttons this generation…

…because Titus decided to propose to Tierra that night!

Titus wasn’t smelly when they were eating but just as he got down on one knee the green gas appeared. That boy is so annoying sometimes, ruining my photos.

“Of course I will marry you Titus!”

“I am so happy! Quick jump into my arms and stink cloud. It will be so romantic.”

Tierra moves into the Doodle house and gets a makeover. There wasn’t anything wrong with her old hair I just want to use new hair because it’s shiny and new.

Tierra has the mansion baron aspiration. Her traits are glutton, family orientated and perfectionist.

Titus and Tierra decided to get straight to it with the wedding. Sticking to the parties off the home lot theme the gang headed to a lot I got from the exchange which is so lovely!

Ah it’s so prettyyyyyyy. Why can’t I be as good as this at building?

The chapel lot is by ju1ka on the exchange.

The guests gathered around to watch Titus and Tierra become man and wife.

“I am so happy I met you Tierra. This has all gone so fast but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I promise to be the best husband I can be to you. I love you.”

“Teehee. Titus you are so sweet and I am so happy to be spending my simlife with you in this crazy legacy. I love you too.”

Everyone then heads outside for a bit of dancing.

Lucy meets a cute girl in a cowboy hat at the wedding and has her very first kiss!

What a party! Amaya has passed on a bench whilst Regina and Colin make out on another one.

The newly weds head home after a successful wedding and have their first (few) attempts at making generation 4!

“I am feeling super confident!”

How long do you have to wait for this pregnancy test? Where is the confetti explosion?

“Huh… it’s negative. Maybe next time. Yay more woohoo!”

The Doodle Legacy ~ Chapter 15

It’s time for more crazy antics in the doodle household. Last chapter a lot happened for once: Mae was evil, Jamari was silly and got eaten by the cowplant (again), the twins were cute and a baby boy heir was born! It wasn’t long before both the twins and Titus were all grown up.

Here is the handsome young teenager Titus Doodle. He grew up in not terrible clothes so I decided to keep them. I am not too sure about the hat yet but I am going to keep it anyway.

And because I didn’t properly show the twins last chapter here they are after their clothes makeovers.

Regina is up top in some cute sporty gear and Lucy is down bottom looking adorable in her cosy clothes.

Overall I am pretty pleased with the teens this generation!

In more clothes related news I must have forgotten to change the pajamas of both Regina and Titus because they have both decided to wear glasses to bed. Neither of them actually wears glasses during the day but I guess they both must have vision difficulties in their dreams.

The next morning Titus started his very own vegetable garden.

I don’t even know where to begin with this photo…

I don’t know how to fit it in…

I am just going to leave it here…

Well at least he isn’t being eaten by the cowplant this time.

Apparently Jamari just likes to walk around the house in the nude now. Titus’ face says it all.

“Dad. I am not going to ask you again. Put some pants on. PLEASE.”

Sometimes I forget Jamari has the insane trait and then I catch him arguing with the dining room chairs. The man has completely lost it. It might be the old age…

That’s right, it’s time for a birthday! Jamari finally joins his wife in old age. Everyone gathers around excitedly.

Mae: “Woop-dee-doo my once hot toyboy is now old and wrinkly.”

Titus: “I am just celebrating the fact the man has some trousers on.”

A birthday party was thrown and everyone did a bit of dancing. I felt a little bad about the time I forgot Jamaris birthday.

“Cor what a great party!”

“Yeah I am having a swell time guys!”

Why are all of my sims miserable? Is it the chocolate cake? Have I served it at too many parties now?

For some weird reason I still got a gold medal even with all those grumpy guests.

Outside, at the back of the house, Titus’s garden is flourishing.

Must be all the tears he has watered them with… gloomy sod.

And if you are not fed up of seeing miserable sims yet here is Mae looking pretty tired and grumpy. It’s a hard life being a criminal. She gets the promotion she needs for the public enemy aspiration so now she just needs to witness the death of a sim. Hmm… I wonder who Mae will murder this time.

Later that night I get a nice little surprise. Looks like Mae has attracted the attention of aliens.

This is the first time an abduction has happened in my sims game!

Maybe they want to interrogate her to find out her evil secrets.

Wow… the dazed emotion is great!

Has Mae been bested by aliens?!

In her dazed state all Mae wanted to do was follow Jamari around the house for kisses. She wouldn’t leave him alone, romantic interactions just kept coming up in her panel and her whims were all to do with Jamari. It was pretty sweet.

Titus certainly had a giggle about it the next morning.

“I can’t believe you are pretending you got abducted by aliens hahah.”

“I am not pretending. It happened.”

“Heh heh of course and last night I had a party with Santa Claus and the easter bunny.”

“Shut up.”

Well I suppose I better let the twins have some more face time… and it’s just in time for their birthday into adulthood!

Titus reveals his party clothes (boy have I been lazy with Titus and his outfits) and it’s another hat! This time it’s a cowboy hat.

Regina’s outfit also features a hat to the annoyance of Titus.

“I don’t mean to be rude Regina but hats are kinda my thing this generation. Plus it’s just my everyday hat in purple you copycat. So maybe you should just take it off.”

“Well this hat is pretty cute and my outfit is pretty cute and they go well together. So maybe you should just deal with it.”

Titus then disappears to tend to his mushrooms in a huff… teenage boys *sigh*

Anyway the birthday party has to continue so it’s time for the girls to blow out the candl- seriously Mae?

“I have no idea what you are talking about.”

Even in old age Mae continues to mess with me.

A new cake is baked (thanks again Mae) and Lucy is up first.

Amaya: “I don’t mean to be rude but I am getting sick of your birthday parties and sick of this same old chocolate cake. I helped myself to some yoghurt instead.”

Good for you, I don’t care.

Amaya: “No but really do you like have any other friends than me?”

Oh my! Lucy how you have grown in a certain department….

“I’m taller right?”

Um…

“Oh well I guess my hips a little chunkier…”

Hm they are but that’s not quite it… Lucy your chest is now massive. I fear you will fall on your face when trying to walk forwards.

Next up to the cake is Regina but she is more interested in her phone. Probably searching new fitness techniques or something.

And here she is looking pretty similar to the last picture though perhaps a little more filled out.

Regina rolls the good trait as her final trait taking after her father.

Lucy rolled the hates children trait because apparently at least one sim a generation MUST have it.

Sweet Jamari tries to clean up after the party but he is not looking so good… this man has not aged well. I think it’s time for his bed.

The next morning Jamari, Regina and Titus were enjoying some grub at the breakfast bar when I decided it was time they went out and made some new family friends after hearing Amaya’s mean comments at the birthday party.

“Ugh brother could you eat a little nicer when we are all together… or at least a little slower.”

“Numump…can’t talk….umphnu….eating.”

Ah the glutton trait… get used to this photo people because if I have to put up with seeing this throughout this generation so do you!

The doodle family formed a singular line and marched to the newly opened local spa.

Yup that’s right, I just bought a new stuff pack and this is a great time to test it out. Mae looks thrilled.

“Socializing with people whilst in a fluffy robe or learning some ridiculous wellness skill doing poncey yoga is my idea of hell you monster.”

How does the robe feel Mae?

“It’s alright… I suppose.”

I decide to leave the family to their own devices and just watch what they get up to.

Jamari managed to get himself into the back of a yoga class.

Titus was actually laughing, splashing and having fun for once in a bubble bath.

Regina headed straight for the yoga mats.

And surprisingly so did Mae!

Mae? Doing poncey yoga?

“Keep your comments to yourself or I’ll set my cowplant on you. This is actually kind of relaxing.”

Downstairs I found Lucy flirting with herself in the mirror… insane sims are fun.

“Hey-lo good looking. You are looking finee in that soft white robe.”

Once the doodle family got home from their trip to the spa I realised they never actually made any new friends because I was too interested in new fancy spa stuff. So here are Titus, Lucy and Regina at the park where hopefully some teens will hang out.

Regina looks pretty confident and excited to be outdoors, Lucy seems a bit unsure of outside and probably misses her PC. Titus looks happy… maybe the boy has changed from his childhood (gloomy all the time) ways.

Ooh pretty young teens. Go talk to them Titus!

“Hi my name is Titus.”

“Ooh Titus what a cute scowl you have teehee.”

This cutie is called Tierra.

Titus: “Hm… I could really go for a burger. Maybe two burgers.”

Tierra: “Oh me too! With bacon and plenty of cheese. Side of fries would be great too.”

Turns out Tierra is also a glutton, they are perfect for each other.

Titus uses one flirt on Tierra and sends her into a giggling mess before heading home.

On the way out of the park I notice Amaya looking pretty scruffy sleeping out on a bench. Has Maci kicked her out? Oh no has Maci died and Amaya has nowhere to go?!

Sadly there is no room in the doodle household. I am sure she will be fine living in the park.

The next day I find Titus watering his plants with an actual watering can and not his tears. He is even whistling happily whilst he does it!

The Doodle Legacy ~ Chapter 14

Another chapter so soon! No 2 month hiatus? What’s happening? Last chapter Lucy and Regina grew up into adorable little girls. Lucy is in the blue, rolled the art lover trait and has the whiz kid aspiration. Regina is in the yellow rolled the self-assured trait and has the creative aspiration.

Escaping outdoors into the sun is the girls favourite way to get away from the madness that is living with an evil mother. Sounds harsh but really their mother is evil.

Just take one look into the basement and you will see for yourself how truly evil Mae Doodle is.

“Hello? Hello…? Is anyone there? I need to go home now. Please!”

Though lately Mae hasn’t been feeling her usual evil self. All she wants to do is go start some fights for the public enemy aspiration but as she is on her second pregnancy fighting is not allowed.

“I didn’t think there could be something more evil than myself but this creature inside me is putting up a pretty good fight.”

Mae is slightly less terrifying than normal when she can’t even make it to the bathroom on time.

“GAH! Get that camera out of my face! The readers won’t fear me when they see me like this.”

“WHEN THIS DEMON IS BORN I WILL KILL IT AND AVENGE MYSELF FOR THE EMBARRASSMENT IT HAS CAUSED ME.”

Mae is that you hiding under the covers of your daughters bed?

“Go away!”

Mae are you sulking?

“I said go away! I will stay here until this thing has left my body so I can go back to my evil ways.”

Mae waits out her pregnancy in bed until she is finally ready to give birth to a new baby. Fingers crossed for a boy, I don’t think Mae could survive another pregnancy. I decided to skip the hospital after the previous trip that resulted in twin girls.

It’s a boy! A sweet little boy named Titus from the random roll.

Is that happiness or relief on Mae’s face?

“Oh man. Not a stinky boy.”

Mae is finally free of child and happy to dump it on her doting husband Jamari so she can head out and make up for lost evil time. Queue the evil fighting montage.

Young child: “Mummy what is that crazy lady doing to daddy?”

Spotty skirt: “Oh nothing sweetheart, they are just playing. Run along now to the pirate ship to play.”

“Did you just look at me?!”

“No I… uh… I… I swear I was just looking at the tree behind you!”

Meanwhile back at home…

Jamari cuddles Titus…

…Enthusiastically reads to Lucy…

… and even makes time to fix the dollhouse Mae wrecked on her way out!

Mae gets home and heads straight to the dollhouse.

“Ah… that felt good.”

So I have a look around the house for Jamari so he can fix it…

Oh no. Oh no no no he has already been eaten by the stupid thing!!!

Muddy3 you spit him out right now!

Don’t give me that look, spit him out!

Oh thank goodness. I have no idea how he is still alive. Did I change cowplant since the last time? I can’t remember but at least Jamari isn’t dead.

Speaking of death…

Hey death!

“Aw man I hate coming to this house. It’s like she is collecting the different ways to kill people… SICK!”

The next day Mae comes home from her work in crime with a cheeky grin, a promotion and a nifty new outfit.

I really like it. It suits Mae!

The twins both live fairly boring lives that revolve around completing their childhood aspiration.

“If you are going to be rude I would rather not have any facetime at all.”

Jamari is often busy being a cop and Mae is often busy being evil leaving the ghosts to babysit.

But just because she is nice to the children doesn’t mean the ghost that drowned in my pool isn’t a pain in the butt for me. All bathrooms flooded 99% of the time.

It wasn’t long before Titus popped out of the crib scaring the life out of Jamari.

“Waheyy! Look at how big my hands are dad!”

“Wait I take that back I’m miserable and gloomy.”

Yup Titus gets the gloomy trait and rolls the whiz kid aspiration. Now Lucy will have another sim to play chess with.

Jamari does his best to fulfill his fatherly duties of reading bedtime stories but Titus remains gloomy and sad.

“The knight rode his gallant steed into the tall, dark tower to save the beautiful princess trapped at the top by the terrifying dragon…”

“The knight is going to die isn’t he? The dragon will eat them all I bet. Everyone will die just like in Sim life.”

Lucy: “Today I was playing on the bus when Marcus waved at me Regina! Hehehe.”

Regina: “Ooh! Lucy and Marcus sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-”

Titus: “No one ever waves at me.”

Will this gloominess ever end?

“Just leave me alone.”

Titus you are breaking my heart, please cheer up a little… you are the heir to the doodle legacy!

“I just want to be alone right now.”

With the three children grown up and pretty self sufficient (they just skill and sulk in bed) Jamari and Mae spend a lot of time together going on dates…

…and smooching in public toilets to complete Jamaris soulmate aspiration. Thats another point added to my scoresheet!

Hey are those guests in the doodle house?… Why it must be a birthday party!

Jamari: “The twins childhood just sped past didn’t it sweetheart.”

Mae: “Oh yes I am sure it did. Rachel and Lucky are sweet little things aren’t they.”

Amaya (double of Mae and Macis daughter): “Did you actually spend any time with your children whilst they were growing up Aunty Mae?”

“Aw man I can’t believe it’s my birthday already. All I did was complete that stupid creative aspiration. The only friends I made were my brother and sister and I don’t think I visited the park once.”

So it may have been a little more interesting to play Mae being evil this generation… sorry twins!

Jamari whilst throwing confetti: “Happy birthday sweetpea..YES I won! Give me your money losers!”

The man in the hat is Maci Doodles husband Milton. He obviously doesn’t want to wait for his piece of cake.

Milton: “If you are not fast you’re last! Har har!”

Maci: “Yikes, what is she wearing?”

Maya: “Happpppy birthdayyyyyyy dear Regina. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.”

Regina rolls the slob trait (great) and the bodybuilder aspiration. With those hips boy do I have some work to do.

Yikes! Maes older brothers Jim and Rory got old!

Jim: “Please don’t look at me. I’m grey.”

Rory: “Oh my back. Oh Jim it’s my back again.”

Next up to the cake is Lucy!

Lucy grows up in a plain outfit but she is very pretty! She rolls the insane trait like her father and the computer whiz aspiration.

The twins both get a clothes makeover but I can’t find a picture just now so you will see them in future photos. Ah the life of a spare.

The next day is yet another birthday. It’s a sad birthday, the evil heir Mae is getting old.

“I wish to be immortal and stay an adult forever.”

“Drat.”

It’s a quiet party with only a few relatives invited. Amaya shows up to rub salt into Mae’s wound since she is basically a younger version of Mae. Then she has the cheek to hop in the pool next to Jamari and act all flirty.

“Oh Jamari what a handsome swimming cap you have on, it really brings out your eyes.”

“Uh.. that’s really nice of you say Amaya but I have a feeling I should leave now.”

“You get your filthy paws off my man before I kick your teeny, tiny as-”

Woah! Language Mae! At least Jamari has the good sense to leave the pool and this situation.

Lucy is the poor sim left to do all the cleaning up after Mae’s quiet birthday. Apparently the maid shows up when she feels like it.

When Lucy isn’t cleaning up after the rest of the family she can be found at the computer playing games or programming.

Regina on the other hand can be found out at the gym or jogging.

Jamari spends the majority of his days at work…

(This is the point in the game I realised it was happening again… everyone is old and dying…again. Time to delete some of the Doodle families neighbours.)

… or being eaten by the friendly pet Muddy3 or 4 or 5 I’ve lost count now.

I have no idea how this man is still alive.

Meanwhile Titus is being his usual cheery, perky self.

How does Titus feel when he gets an A at school and completes his aspiration?

“Fine.”

This is what I have to work with.

“Well how can I be happy and excited about completing an aspiration when it took my whole childhood to complete? I have read that some kids complete 3 or 4 aspirations in one childhood!”

Yes it took his whole childhood and now Titus is ready to join his sisters as a teenager. Titus was pretty gloomy as a child so I can’t wait for his teenage mood swings. Fingers crossed for a good trait.

“Woo that’s my son! I didn’t mess up the legacy line!”

Is that a smile?!

Titus grows up and rolls the glutton trait. I understand why he looks like he is laughing now. This boy is trying and succeeding to make my life miserable. Drama queen? Me? Of course not!

His aspiration is the freelance botanist one. So he is sad, comfort eats because he is so sad and then out of the blue wants to plant pretty flowers.

The Doodle Legacy ~ Chapter 13

Wow. So those two months went by pretty quickly! A little recap (for myself it’s been a while.): Mae and Jamari finally hooked up and got married! About time too, Mae is getting old. Ronan topped the Chef career, Mae got a job in crime and Jamari got a job in the police department. Today is his first day:

Jamari looks pretty excited and super cute in his uniform! I am also excited, this is the first time I have tried the detective career since I recently got Get to Work.

I will try my best not to spam you with “Ooh look at this it’s new and shiny to me” pictures. Jamari gets his first case assignment and heads out to the crime scene.

Jamari looks super serious taking his very first witness statement, he should get on well with this career if he is going to work as hard as this.

But then I catch him outside making burgers on the poor families grill. I am new to this career but I am not sure this is how he is meant to spend his time whilst at a crime scene.

Are you kidding me Jamari?

Last chapter I had a basement designed to start a fire to collect the fire ghost and had absolutely no luck whatsoever. I take Jamari to work and the first thing of importance he does is set the crime scene on fire. Sometimes I think this game is trolling me.

After a stressful first day Jamari heads home and I get to see what Mae has been up to whilst we were away. Trolling the forums in her pajamas apparently, productive day.

It was a productive day! All the trolling of the forums means Mae has now completed the Chief of Mischief aspiration.

Time to move on to more evil things… the public enemy aspiration.

The next day of Jamaris work involves going on patrol and he meets some unpleasant civilians. Does this man not realise Jamari is the most serious cop that ever lived? Or that Jamari is married to Mae the evil Sim?

Jamari also makes his first arrest and it’s even the right person!

Jamari gains his first promotion. Boy being a cop sure is hungry work! Or it may be that I don’t trust him to cook for himself anymore…

It’s soon time for another birthday – Mae is becoming an adult. The usual lot is invited. Maci, Milton and their child. Random people that Ronan and Jamari know.

I am sorry kid but this castle died a long time ago and I am not bothering to fix it just for you. The total number of sims that hate children currently on this lot for this birthday is 4 so it is not worth my time.

Oh look someone is going to visit Muddy2!

“Finally I found the birthday cake! What a strange place to keep it.”

“Gah what a horrid family this is! How dare you!”

Turns out this woman is Jamaris mother… Oops!

“How could my kind son marry into a family like this?!”

Lets not forget the insane trait now…

The birthday party was a success! The cowplant thoroughly enjoyed himself.

Unfortunately in my game birthday celebrations are often followed by death for some reason… It’s time for Ronan to pass on but I feel by now it’s what he wanted.

Now that Mae is all grown up and an adult she really needs to get a move on with 1. Continuing the family line and 2. Collecting deaths.

This is the woman that first took the cake from the cowplant so I just need her to take the cake again to collect her ghost.

I invite her around every single day but she isn’t falling for it this time.

Unfortunately for me Jamari falls for it. Please don’t die before you and Mae have had a baby boy Jamari!

“Blergh! This thing is more dangerous than I thought. Mae said he was harmless!”

Mae lures a new sim into her basement and there is now a sofa next to the fireplace. If this isn’t a fire hazard I don’t know what is! I guess if it doesn’t burst into flames I will take the man starving instead.

And in the family pool   Pool dungeon we have another victim.

In sad news Muddy 2 has died. RIP. That woman just wouldn’t fall for taking the cake a second time and I didn’t feed him in time. Gr.

Since Jamari has the Soulmate aspiration dates must be had.

“Jamari you know I hate to be affectionate in public. You are ruining my reputation. People can’t think I am sweet and cute.”

“Oh shutup, you know you like it really.”

Smooching on the park benches… D’aww!

Since they are in Desert Bloom park they might as well pick up Muddy 3 before heading home!

Back at home the romance continues… with Maes grandmother watching over. Ew.

The next morning brings joyous news of a pregnancy!

Mae looks absolutely thrilled to be a mum to be and not tense like all the moodlets are telling me.

You look far too happy to be trapped in a pool.

“Hey I am basically famous now! I will take any facetime I can get.”

I don’t like to judge others but that’s a lot of effort to go to for facetime in a small legacy story.

Grim: “Jesus this is sick! What kind of family lives here? This is not the same family I have been visiting for the past two generations is it?!”

“Ugh I should be out there witnessing my evil plans unfold not puking my guts up thanks to this gremlin inside me. It had better be a boy because I refuse to go through the morning sickness again!”

Meanwhile in the basement this guy is still going strong.

“I will gather my strength and escape from this hell hole! I promise you that you evil witch!”

Apparently word of how evil Mae is spreads fast, even the maid is terrified to be in the house.

Jamari is oblivious to the evil going on in the house and continues to do well in his career.

Jamari has the best facial expressions.

When Jamari gets home he has been promoted to Detective – lovely outfit btw – and is running around in a panic. It’s baby time!

“I’m having a baby!”

Well at least one of the parents is excited.

Sorry what am I talking about, can’t you see the excitement pouring out of Mae right now?

“I suppose you think this is funny. Is the duck gown really necessary? Takes away from the evil a little.”

“Right doctor, lets get this over and done with. I would like one baby boy please. There will be consequences otherwise.”

“Mrs Doodle.. you know I don’t choose the gender of the baby right? I just take it out.”

“Consequences Doctor. CONSEQUENCES.”

“Mrs Doodle I am pleased to tell you it’s a girl… and another girl.”

“SOMEONE GET ME OUT OF HERE SO I CAN KILL THIS MAN.”

“Nurse! …. NURSE! SEDATION QUICK.”

Yes yet again my game has delivered me with twins. Twin girls when I need a male heir. The woman who won’t eat the Cowplant and Jamaris mother are delighted.

Meet Lucy and Regina Doodle.

I am not sure I can say the same for Mae when she gets home. Especially when she discovers the prisoner has escaped AND has the cheek to pop over to the house to gloat.

She was at least happy when she won the fight.

Whilst Mae is out fighting a couple of friendly ghosts do some babysitting. Well at least one of the ghosts is friendly… the other one is still a little mad at drowning in a pool dungeon…

And boy is she making me pay for it! I haven’t had this problem with ghosts and plumbing for ages. She also leaves puddles EVERYWHERE.

“You did kill me.”

Fair enough.

Muddy3 likes to play with her. Unfortunately this only seems to make her more mad.

The majority of the childcare is provided by the doting father Jamari who is ecstatic to have two baby girls.

I want to say they are growing on Mae but I am just not sure…

“Huh. You are not so bad I guess. Wrong gender but not completely horrible for a little gremlin.”

To be fair she does do her fair share of feeding and nappy changes whilst Jamari is at work.

“Oh joy another pregnancy and so soon after the first.”

Well at least she looks happier than she was the first time round. Lets hope it stays that way.

“As long as this is the last time round I will remain happy.”

A team effort seems to be the best strategy when dealing with twins. I have had plenty of practice in this legacy so far to know.

A new parenting strategy this generation is sending the babies off to daycare so the parents can go on dates.

Mae decides to reveal the news of another baby whilst on romantic date in the Art Museum. Not the reaction I was expecting from Jamari.

“But she gets so moody when she is pregnant.”

Jamari soon comes around though and Mae even lets him touch the baby belly. In public too!

Whilst in the Art Gallery they meet Amaya who is now all grown up and a Mae wannabe.

When they return from their date the pair head to bed…

but first it’s Jamaris birthday and I forgot so he ages up looking as surprised as I am.

“It’s my birthday… you forgot my birthday?”

Don’t look at me like that Jamari I am sorry!

It’s a double birthday because the girls are also growing up!

“Wow I am big now!”

“No one loves me.”

Oh please stop sulking Jamari, I can’t deal with these sims 4 emotions!

And so ends the chapter, hopefully next time Mae will have the baby boy she needs to continue the family line!

The Doodle Legacy ~ Chapter 12

Last chapter Maci and Milton got married and then had  demon-child Amaya before moving out from the doodle household. Jim completed the serial romantic aspiration and moved out to his own bachelor pad leaving a very quiet house with only Ronan and Mae left. Don’t worry there are plenty of ghosts to keep the house busy and as of now a very new pet! Meet Muddy:

Finally Mae has found a true friend. Make sure you remember to feed him!

“Oh I will… I have the perfect meal for him planned out already.”

Meanwhile out the front of the house Amaya (Maci and Milton’s daughter) arrived to say hello. Apparently she didn’t get the everyone hates children in my game so stay away memo.

“Granddad It’s me, your granddaughter Amaya.”

“I don’t care who you are you nasty little gremlin. You are making me angry when I should be getting inspired! I have work in three hours so get out of here.”

Thankfully Ronan still managed to get inspired (I sent the kid home to reduce his anger) and came home with another promotion! He is now one level away from topping the career. Unfortunately he is also pretty near to a visit from Grim…

So I cave and let him take a potion of youth.

“Can’t you just let me go? I want to be reunited with my love, India. My mother and father. My daughter taken from me so cruelly and so young.”

Just drink the potion, get the promotion and I will let you die in peace Ronan.

Since there were only two in the household I decided to get Mae a job – someone needs to bring in the money when Ronan passes away. Of course Mae chose a career in crime and got her first promotion today!

“Crime comes naturally to me it would seem.”

I am not surprised with your traits!

As Mae’s daily task for her job is to be mischievous she spends a lot of time visiting lots. She always invites Jamari because one day they will be together dammit! Even if he takes forever to age up. Their friendship bar is still high (in this photo they just became partners in crime) but that pink bar is dwindling. Hurry up and age up!

Unfortunately Mae spending the majority of her time off the household lot has its prices…

Ohh my poor Muddy. I can’t even look after a cowplant nevermind a whole legacy!

Cowplant take two.

As Mae waits for the cow plant to grow up she continues to practice her mischevious skill for work whilst Ronan awkwardly stands nearby watching.

“Well this woman did come to visit me!”

Well duh! No one likes Mae enough to visit apart her from Jamari.

On a second note Mae should be careful with the victims she chooses. Look at those legs – I would not want to fight her!

Finally Muddy part 2 is all grown up and ready for Maes evil plan.

“This is your mouth Muddy2. Open your mouth, chomp and swallow. Got it? Of course you do my sweet cow plant!”

“Huh? What am I doing here?”

“I love my voodoo doll.”

“What are you up to Mae Doodle?”

“Oh nothing. I hope you’re hungry Guadalupe.”

WHAT THE?

How did she get out?! She just leaped out of the cage?

“Let’s try this again Guadalupe. You are trapped in my cage. Don’t you dare try to escape!”

Stupid fences. Time to try something different.

Follow me Guadlupe. I have freshly baked goodies. I want to show you the new basement feature.

“Once I get out of here the stairs will disappear. Just try to get out of this one Guadalupe.”

“Time to go home! Bye guys!”

Oh I don’t think so… now we just have to wait.

OH JUST EAT THE CAKE PLEASE.

“NEVER!”

I waited and waited and then started worrying the cow plant would die first. Lets try a different technique. Lets just leave the cowplant out front and see if she goes to it herself.

Oh look it’s grim! But the cow plant still has cake in it’s mouth? Did she take the cake and die?

Or did Guadalupe die of old age in my living room?

Moral of this story – I am really bad at being evil.

“At least one of us is putting in some effort at being evil. I got a promotion and now I am very tired.”

Hey! I am trying! I guess being evil doesn’t come as naturally to me as it does to you.

Whilst Mae heads to bed I decide to check on what Ronan is doing – OH NO.

no no no no no no no

Why am I so bad at sims?

Don’t worry Ronan didn’t die! In Fact he didn’t even get eaten and spat back out either.

I wasn’t going to let Ronan die when he is so close to topping the Chef career and here is the photo of him doing just that. He looks pretty pleased with himself – which he should be!

Ronan’s completed goals in life are a reminder to myself that Mae needs to get on with her own life goals. Thankfully the next time she invited Jamari out the flirty section of the menu was available meaning Jamari is now a young adult!

Unfortunately the pink bar has pretty much disappeared for the both of them. Mae seems pretty confident that won’t last for long though.

“When I said I wanted us to be as close as we were before this wasn’t quite what I had in mind Jamari.”

Mae invites Jamari back to the house so the two can get to know each other again in peace.

Jamari decides he would much rather mourn for the deceased members of the Doodle Family. Looks like he is going to fit right into this household. I still need to discover his new trait, if it’s hates children he was destined to be in this legacy.

Mae manages to prise Jamari from the graveyard for a bit of making out in the woods.

Then they decide it’s time they became boyfriend and girlfriend again. Their excited squeals are too cute!

Jamari moves into the household and his traits are revealed. It’s much worse than hates children.

“Huh… so you have the good trait Jamari?”

“Yes I am good. I see you have the evil trait Mae.”

“Yup. So really we should hate each other.”

“But sweet Mae I don’t hate you. I know there is good inside you. I can help you be good. I love you.”

Jamari also has the insane trait… which he would need to be to think that Mae was good. She has a cowplant outside the house that is currently looking for it’s next Sim meal and I don’t even want to go into her dungeon… oh wait I haven’t shown you her dungeon.

“Uh… Hello? Is anyone there? Where have the stairs gone?”

I feel like I have some explaining to do…

Basically one way to collect points is to collect all the different kinds of ghosts. Who better to do that than the evil Mae Doodle?! So I converted the basement into a dungeon/fire pit. The sim will either die in a fire or starve to death. Wow I am feeling really evil as I type this.

So yes Jamari’s new trait is good which is quite the clash to Maes. He is also insane and a perfectionist making him quite the interesting spouse for our dear Mae.

His LTW is the soulmate one which is adorable. I decided to get him a job in the detective career. I recently got Get to Work so I am excited to try new things out and I think Mae being a criminal and Jamari being a cop is quite funny.

Honestly though how was I to know he was good in that bad boy leather jacket?!

Before Jamari starts his active career I decide now would be the best time for the wedding as Mae is off work too. Of course to have a wedding you need a proposal. Mae being the self-assured sim she is gets down on one knee to propose to Jamari.

And so it’s time for yet another wedding. The cowplant hungrily eyes the victims  guests.

Before I moved Maci out I forgot to change her formal outfit so she arrives to the wedding ready to steal the show. First she did some mourning at her mother’s grave though, this is Maci Doodle after all.

Milton arrives with little Amaya the only child to be invited since half the guests and bride hates children. Even though Milton has the hates children trait he surprises me with this sweet photo. Aw!

I always like to start the party with the wedding ceremony to ensure it is a successful party so Mae runs to the altar. If you look closely you can see under her formal gown…

A sneaky pair of trainers. Typical Mae, I am growing used to this sort of thing from her.

Amaya changes into her formal outfit inspired by Grandads to watch the ceremony.

“Mae I know a lot of people will be confused by our choice to stay together and get married. I want you to know I am not confused at all, I know you and I love you. Deep down you are a kind, good soul.”

Meanwhile in the basement…

Jesus you got old!

“Everyone is old in your game. Now can you please let me out?”

Why hasn’t she died of starvation yet? Or why hasn’t this place broke out in fire?! I have a sink pouring onto a stereo, two fireplaces surrounded by rugs and two ovens with food cooking inside. I didn’t realise it would be so hard to start a fire! I was feeling nice so I set her free. I don’t need another old age ghost on my lot.

Ronan: “This is insanity! You can’t marry each other. A marriage between a good and an evil sim? Nonsense! You will kill this legacy with your negative moodlets.”

They got married anyway against Ronan’s advice. They are just so sweet together and I think it’s kind of romantic.

The wedding was a success and everyone had a good time, especially Muddy2!

The bride and groom ended their night sharing invisible wedding cake in their new fancy bedroom.

And here is the end of this chapter, next chapter will hopefully bring generation 4!

The Doodle Legacy ~ Chapter 11

It’s time for more of the Doodle Family! Last chapter the triplets grew up and Mae became heir. India passed away of old age and then Molly died of embarrassment… oops. As the last chapter ended I discovered some happy news for the doodle family after all the sadness and death – Maci is pregnant! Next thing to do is let the happy father know:

Hm… he is not taking this as well as I thought he would. I wonder why?

Oh lord you have got to be kidding me… what is with all the child-hating sims in my game?!

“Oh come on honey, it’s not that bad Milton.”

“The devil is growing inside your womb.”

“Hey guys, am I interrupting an awkward moment or something? I just didn’t want to be late for your big day!”

Huh did I forget to mention I arranged the wedding just before Maci told Milton the good news?

“Ugh Jamari why are you still a teenager?!”

“Nice to see you too Mae. You are looking super hot in a totally not inappropriate way since you are a young adult and I am a teen by the way.”

Naturally I find Maci mourning by the graves on her wedding day. Please stop before you are too sad to actually get married, that would be slightly annoying.

“Oh my poor sister, my poor mother and my poor grandmother and grandfather. How I wish you all could be here to see me get married.”

Enough mourning you need to actually get married for this to be a successful party.

“Ugh..uh.. I don’t feel so good.”

“You brought this upon yourself. Now do you see how evil that thing growing inside you is?”

Thankfully neither the bride nor groom ran away… it was a close call there. It was an awkward ceremony with a mixture of angry and happy faces. They sealed the deal with a passionate kiss. Confusing sims.

After the ceremony finished everyone went straight for cake in the pool. A classy wedding in Macis second favourite spot (Can you guess her first?).

Of course Rory made it to the wedding.

“Oh, so you haven’t forgotten me.”

I don’t think I could forget you in that swimwear. Something about this just cracks me up… is it the glasses?

“Hey! I look very stylish thank you very much.”

Maci ended her magical night bent over the toilet. So far she is having a pretty rough pregnancy and spends a lot of time beside this toilet… maybe she is giving birth to the devil.

Back to the heir of this legacy Mae spends her time practising her evil laugh. I have some evil plans for her so it needs to be perfect.

MUAHAHAH

First evil plan is to clog the drains of three different households. Mae heads off to her neighbours homes and brings Jim along with her to be her look out. Hey he might even get a kiss from some of the home owners!

On second thoughts maybe he won’t. He makes a great distraction whilst Mae clogs this guys bath though!

“What’s up with you darling?”

“Humph, I was promised pretty girls to kiss if I came here with my sister.”

Some sims just want to watch the world burn.

“Quit your whining Jim, I have important evil jobs to attend too. Besides that was the first house, there might be a good looking woman here.”

“Oh alright, wait for me then.”

“What are you two doing here? Can’t a woman sip her cocktails in her underwear in the peace and quiet of her own home now?”

“Oh good heavens avert your eyes Mae! I can’t look at it. This is the last house I am coming to!”

“Oh brother. Fine but can you please focus for this one and keep her distracted whilst I clog her sink.”

Ruining the happiness of others one drain at a time.

“Knock Knock. Anyone home?”

“Behind you dear. Can I help you?”

“Ahaha… the one young female and Jim didn’t come. Anyway I am here to have a look at your drains. There has been a problem with faulty drains around town.”

“Aw how sweet of you my kind neighbour.”

“Hm… I see the problem with this drain. It’s working perfectly fine. I will soon see to that though.”

Three drains clogged in three different homes… check!

One step closer to fulfilling Maes aspiration.

The next evil thing on Maes evil list requires a trip to Desert Bloom park. Jim tags along on this adventure and isn’t disappointed when he is surrounded by attractive women.

“Enough flirting we have work to do Jim. We won’t stop fishing until we find it.”

“Find what Mae?”

“You will find out soon enough.”

Whilst they fished I did some sim watching and this guy caught my eye. I know the sims 4 has a great CAS which lets you make any shape or size of sim but this guy is HUGE. I didn’t realise you could get this big. Are steroids a thing in sims?

The fishing was successful so Jim was allowed some time with the pretty ladies. This doesn’t really look like it should count as a kiss to me but I will take it anyway as Jim now only needs one more kiss to make it to kiss number 10.

A random woman is invited to the house and Jim has now had 10 kisses! Time for a quick round of dates and Jim will have completed the serial romantic aspiration. Cue the gold dates montage:

“And now I am free to leave this madhouse and be a bachelor forever. Laters!”

“Boyfriend? Where are you going? Are you just leaving me here?”

“Sorry but I am a free spirit baby, no one can hold me down.”

In other good points news Ronan maxed the mixologist skill.

“Ah so this is what I have to do for some face time.”

Eek.. sorry Ronan.

The house had been pretty quiet on the ghost front lately and then that night Molly showed up! I hope she isn’t too angry about her unfortunate death.

“I was so close to escaping and now I am stuck on this lot forever, of course I am mad!”

And then there were two ghosts haunting the living room.

Ronan made the most of India’s first return into the house. It wasn’t long before India turned pink.

Apparently tonight is a ghost party! Ronan had a fun night with his loved ones which made me happy.

WOAH Mae is there something you are not telling me?

“I see you have been in among Ronan’s cooking Mae.”

By now Maci is absolutely massive.. I was expecting this. The bump on Mae I was not.

Thankfully when Mae changed her clothes the bump was gone. I still sent her on a jog to be on the safe side.

Not long after the scare Mae gave me, Milton decided to do an impression of Edvard Munch’s painting The Scream. Apparently it is time for Maci to give birth.

Naturally I found Maci by the graves where she spent an uncomfortable labour mourning for her deceased loved ones.

Hey Milton, Maci is in the kitchen giving birth to your first child.

“Ah.. ignorance is bliss.”

Oh no! Milton was right. It’s a demon baby.

The demon baby lunges forth from her crib ready to attack.

I decided to age her up straight away so they could move out. I don’t want a demon in this household, it’s crazy enough as it is. I am not sure at this point what happens if you move out  a pregnant woman or a baby and then don’t play the family. Would she still give birth? Would the baby age up? Maybe I will experiment later in the legacy.

The demon child looks fairly normal and friendly but maybe that is just an act. I used the random name thing so demon child is also known as Amaya. She rolled the neat trait like her mother and the rambunctious scamp aspiration. Not that it matters because it won’t ever be completed.

With Amaya all grown up Maci, Milton and Amaya move out of the doodle household.

“It’s quiet in the doodle house for once… too quiet.”

How about a nice spot of gardening to liven things up.

The Doodle Legacy ~ Chapter 10

Last chapter the triplets grew up into gorgeous teenagers and the twins grew up into young adults. Poor Rory was moved out straight away as the house is so full but I kept Jim with the intention to complete his aspiration: Serial Romantic.

And so whilst everyone is out at school or work Jim makes use of his free time and heads to the museum to gather kisses.

Oh no. Abort that flirt! Abort! It’s Riley the crazy girlfriend!

Riley: “51 – 52 – 53 -“

JIm: “Uh Riley what are you doing? This isn’t the gym.”

Riley: “Getting strong so I can kick the ass of anyone who goes near my man – 54 – 55.”

Jim: “I am not flirting with anyone here Riley! I swear!”

“Well… technically I wasn’t doing any flirting there in front of Riley. Upstairs where my crazy girlfriend is nowhere to be found I may be doing some flirting – and a little bit of kissing.”

“And when that pretty lady has gone home I may do a little more flirting and kissing with another pretty lady. It’s a hard life.”

On one of Jim’s trips to search for lonely sim ladies I spied a certain someone in the library. I couldn’t miss that shiny, bald head. It’s Guadalupe!

FLASHBACK from last chapter.

Guadalupe is Mae’s arch enemy after Guadalupe had the cheek to soak Mae with a drink!

Mae will often perform prank calls and chain emails to Guadalupe but it’s just not enough. Mae needs a victim to practice her voodoo skills and Guadalupe would be perfect! Unfortunately as they are enemies it makes it a little hard to just invite Guadalupe to the house to hang out.

But… with the help of Jim and his charming ways it may just be possible to get her to the house for Mae to seek revenge!

“How about you come around to my house so I can cheer you up. I can make a few cocktails, put on some nice music.”

“Hm.. alright, I suppose I can come for a bit.”

MUAHAHAHA.

“You are Mae Doodle’s brother?! You little -“

“Woah calm down lady I am just doing as I was told. She said I would get to kiss a pretty lady if I brought you here.”

“MUAHAHAHA MY EVIL PLAN WORKED. Now you are here I can bind you to my voodoo doll and revenge shall be mine!”

“You soaked me with a drink and insulted me one day in the park… today you shall receive your punishment.”

Mae: “Uh.. wow. That was anti-climatic.”

Guadalupe: “Hahahah nice try loser.”

Nothing happened?! She just smiled. This voodoo doll must be broken!

Mae: “One day I will get you back Guadalupe. One day!”

The next day was the weekend and with everyone at home I decided to throw a party. Milton shows up looking very smart but a little annoyed.

“Jamaris shirt is very similar to my shirt. I am not okay with this.”

As the rest of the guests arrive I notice this. Um..Piper, I hope this is your swimwear for the pool.

“Nope. This is just my party outfit. It’s hot today.”

“Oh Piper! I REALLY like your outfit.”

Something is not right with my game.

“You would think I would be really awkward talking to my girlfriends mother whilst she eats cereal in just a bra but I am coping surprisingly well.”

Everyone gathers around the stereo outside for some dancing whilst Maci discovers some disappointing news.

Maci: “Milton, you’re a young adult. Well this is slightly disappointing.”

Milton: “Babe relax, come dance with me. I had no choice. I will still wait for you to grow up. I promise.”

Meanwhile Mae spends some time being mischievous around her new victim Jamari.

Wait a minute he just laughed.. He is smiling!

“Wahaha did you see your face you scaredy cat!”

“I have no idea why but I kinda like your mischievous ways Mae Doodle. Also I will have you know I am no scaredy cat.”

“Prove it.”

“Alright, I will take back the scaredy cat comment… if you do a lap of the house.”

“If I do it what is my prize?”

“I will think of something.”

“You’re on Mae! Better start thinking of a good prize!”

I think Mae may have a bit of a crush going on…

“Pfft I do not. I am just making sure he does it… I am definitely not looking at his bum.”

Mae definitely has a crush on this boy.

“Alright you got me. There is something romantic about a guy brave enough to follow through on my pranks.”

“So what is my prize Miss Doodle?”

A first kiss.

Of course it’s not the only first kiss of the party, Jim wouldn’t be a very good serial romantic if it was.

India spent the majority of the party hanging out by the graveyard. I don’t know if she just wants to be close to the graves of loved ones to mourn or if she thinks she is being helpful so that when her time comes I don’t have to move her grave.

I was very nervous when she started working out – she is getting too old for this kind of stuff. She could literally die from it!

The party was a success, Ronan made burgers for everyone and there was lots of dancing, chatting and flirting (mostly by Jim).

Unfortunately happiness never lasts long in a legacy.

“Please Grim, I beg you don’t take my wife away. I wanted to grow old with her. I wanted her to see her grandchildren.”

“You know what? Sure. Yeah she can stay a bit longer. I can come get her later on I guess.”

“But-but please Grim. She is the love of my life. I thought we would be together – Wait, what?”

“She can live a little longer I guess. Hey I am not a bad guy alright? I am just doing a job like everyone else.”

Grim: “Man these humans have no respect nowadays. People warned me not to get into this business but did I listen?”

India: “What the? What’s happening? Am I dead?”

Grim: “You have been saved by the hero that is your chubby husband, Ronan. Congratulations. Enjoy your remaining time on earth. I will return soon.”

“Oh India I thought I had lost you. Lets make the most of the time we have left together. I love you.”

“Ronan I can’t believe you saved me. I am so happy all those years ago I took a chance on you.”

“Me too.”

This is where I saved my game because I had to stop playing.

This is what I came back to. She literally had time to change her clothes and then she got on the floor and died. Just like that with Ronan sobbing in the background. Grim how could you get his hopes up like that?!

“Oh man I messed up. This is why I don’t normally allow this sort of thing! There are rules to life and death. Every body I go to someone is always begging at me. Crying. So I feel bad and say alright I will give you more time. But I have higher ups to answer to just like everyone else man!”

The next few days were not going to be fun. Ronan was a mess – he was either crying it out in bed or crying it out in the bath or crying to his family. Nothing would cheer him up, not even a four way birthday party.

“There I blew out the cake and now I am old. Are you happy now? Can I go back to my bed to cry some more please?”

But it’s your daughters birthday too. Won’t you stay to watch them get older?

“Alright.. fine. I will watch from over beside the graves.”

First up to the cake for a change is Maci! Maci rolls the neat trait.

It wasn’t long before Maci and Milton were making up (or out) for lost time.

Next to the cake was Molly and she rolled the clumsy trait.

Last but not least and the new heir to the doodle legacy was Mae!

Yes Mae won the heir poll and is now the heir to the family line. I have a feeling she will be a very interesting heir especially after rolling the evil trait to go along with her self-assured and hates children traits.

“I am very happy to hear this news. Just think of all the havoc I can cause in a legacy family!”

I have a feeling this legacy is taking a turn in a very different direction from the happy, lots of children one it was going in.

I hope you are not trying to steal someone’s thunder Maci?

“Milton you handsome man. Will you marry me?”

“Uh.. duh! Of course I will.”

“Eek I am so excited! I just had to ask you straight away before she chucks us out of the house now I am just a spare.”

“UGh yeah man I am so pumped for this wedding!!”

“Don’t mind me. The heart-broken old news. I am last generations heir, I get it. You don’t care anymore.”

Oh Ronan you are breaking my heart here!

Whilst Ronan goes to cry himself to sleep the new young adults hang out by the pool, i really love the fact they can sit together in the pool now.

A few hours later after the guests had gone home I found Molly outside the bathroom not looking great if I am honest. A little embarrassed and a little dirty. What’s up Molly?

“I can’t say it’s too embarrassing.”

Molly please I am worried.

“I am just going to hide outside where no one can see me.”

Molly stop you are scaring me!

“I am just going to crouch down into a tiny ball so no one can see me and I can forget it ever happened.”

No no no no no no no

M-m-molly?

Dead?

Grim: “Huh? I wasn’t expecting this one. Well… I guess I better go ahead and get on with it before I get in trouble from my boss again.”

What? Huh? Did that just happen? SOMEONE PLEAD FOR HER.

It’s too late…

Molly 😦

Umm.. So apparently Molly walked in on someone whilst they were using the toilet or in the shower. Then she had a bladder failure and died. I need a moment to grieve. I am a bad bad simmer 😦

“It was bad enough that my wife died before me and I didn’t get to grow old with her but now my daughter has died before me too?! Oh the agony, oh the pain.”

“Oh the agony, a wife and child lost all too close together. Our birthdays must be cursed. I can’t bring myself to eat whilst they don’t live.”

“Tell me more about your misery father.”

Mae has a positive moodlet for being around miserable sims thanks to her evil trait. Even her own father mourning her mother and sister.

However even with her evil trait and her happiness at others misery I caught Mae mourning for her sister Molly. Things were tough in the Doodle household for a while.

But don’t worry! Slowly things started to get better. Ronan throws himself into his passion for cooking and begins to smile again. He stops crying everywhere he goes.

In fact he works so hard on his cooking he soon finds himself with a promotion at work completing the Master Chef aspiration.

 

Mae gets over the loss of her sister by letting off steam at the local gym. That poor punchbag.

You probably already guessed how Jim got over the loss of a sister…

 

And finally Maci spent her time with Milton who was a good support for her during a difficult time. These two are adorable.

  

And to end the chapter on some positive news… a positive pregnancy test.

The Doodle Legacy ~ Chapter 9

Welcome back to the Doodle Legacy, you are just in time for the birthday party!

Yes it’s the triplets teenage birthday party! Prepare for a lot of CAS pictures. First up to the cake is Molly.

“Ah.. the sweet smell of freedom… and burgers. I love burgers. Also money. I love money.”

Molly grows up pretty cute! I had to give her back her plaits though, just isn’t Molly without them. Molly rolls the Foodie trait and the Mansion Baron aspiration which is hopefully doable.

Next up to the cake is Mae!

Uhh India… did you forget to put something on this morning? Like maybe a t-shirt?!

“What’s up Mae? Are you okay?”

“Oh yeah, I am fine. It’s the author of the legacy that won’t be fine. I am so sorry, I just can’t help it. It’s their tiny hands and feet. I just hate children…”

Three child-hating sims. Three?!

“…Just kidding – I am not sorry! Wahahah.”

Miss Mae Doodle not only rolls the child-hating trait but also the chief of mischief aspiration.

RIP Dollhouse.

Generation 2 – Generation 3.

Last but not least it’s Maci Doodle but apparently everyone is bored of birthdays now. The pain of being last born in a triplet.

“Guys? Guys? I am about to blow the candles out now! Mum..?”

You have got to be joking.

Well now that is better Maci! Maci copies her sister Molly and rolls the Foodie trait. She rolls the aspiration Friend of the world. Oops I messed up not completing her Social Butterfly childhood aspiration! Is this punishment? Twe-Twe-Twenty friends?! I am lucky if the family has one at this point. Though to be fair the doodle family did just have a lot of sim friends die…

Unfortunately I don’t have a lot of photos of the birthday party, I was too busy micromanaging everyone in order to break the silver spell and receive a gold medal. I have included photographic evidence incase you don’t believe me, I had an awful lot of silver parties 😛

“How can I be happy knowing my grandmother is dead?”

Oh yes I forgot, I did take one photo during the party… Maci did not wait long before completing her daily ritual of mourning for Shawna the founder she never met. Will she ever get over this?

Since three of the teenagers aspirations require actually meeting people, this chapter includes more travelling than any chapter I have written before. Maci wants to make friends, Jim wants to make lovers and Mae wants to harass the general public so it’s straight off to the lounge to meet some new people.

Maci gets started on her aspiration straight away introducing herself to everyone in the lounge.

Meanwhile Mae is looking very pleased with herself and a random sim is looking very mad. I wonder what just happened…

*Five Minutes Earlier*

If you guessed throwing her drink over someone then you guessed right! You win a gold star.

Perhaps now would be a good time for a speedy exit!

It’s soon time for another birthd – oh please tell me that is NOT a piece of the cake Rory just made for his mother’s birthday.

“Whatcha gonna do about it?”

Well I guess I will just have to have a little moan and then make a new one because you suck Mae. You suck.

It’s time for another birthday with freshly made birthday cake

Aw she still looks adorable but with grey hair! For some reason she also looks pretty surprised to be aging up. Her adult years must have flown by with all the children to look after.

India isn’t the only one that has became an elder. Walter is old now too! Unfortunately I wouldn’t say Walter has aged quite as gracefully as India has though – sorry Walter but it’s true!

Speaking of Walter… Rory really reminds me of him to the point where I think he is a Walter clone – but with blonde hair. He even takes fully clothed baths like Walter used to. Creepy.

My sim teenagers appear to be very up-to-date with social media. Every now and then I will hear a flash and find one of them taking a selfie or a photo of their food to upload to the internet.

Since Molly wants to own a large, expensive mansion I feel it’s appropriate for her to chip in for it. Molly gets herself a job in the retail sector and heads off to her first day at work looking very determined.

Molly is on the third milestone for the Mansion Barison aspiration and so we needed some more landscape items. Introducing the Doodle families garden – an odd cluster of the most expensive trees with llama and elephants bushes thrown in just because. Beautiful. Next up columns. Where am I going to put 20 columns?

Molly is busy with her new job and Rory is busy practising his guitar so Maci, Mae and Jim head out together to meet some new people. First they head to the library, I hoped there would be less children here than the park for our two child-haters.

There weren’t any children at the library thankfully. Unfortunately there weren’t any teenagers either and young adults aren’t much use to Jim and his need for 10 kisses! Mae still finds the time for a couple of mischievous interactions before they head off to the park because that is where all of the teens in my game seem to hang out.

I found the teens! Hi Riley (Jims girlfriend) how not annoying that you are here to stop Jim from hooking up with other teens!

Of course by the time Maci, Mae and Jim get to the park and introduce themselves to said teens it’s dark and darkness doesn’t make very good photos so quick introductions and back to the family house.

Jim makes time for a quick first kiss before heading home though. Don’t worry I made sure Riley was away home before Jim made his move.

There is even a male teenage sim and bonus points he is pretty attractive! Perhaps one of triplets should meet him before going home.

“Uhh… Hi. My name is Maci. I just had this sudden urge to introduce myself to you. So hi.”

“Hi Maci. My name is Milton. You look.. um.. very nice tonight.”

What has gotten in chatterbox Maci? She seems a little shy!

What will help the slightly awkward, shy situation? Mae jumping in feeling all mischievous of course!

“So are you two gonna make out or what?!”

“MACI! I mean uh.. I don’t know this girl and I should really be getting home now, bye!”

Back at home India was busy completing her aspiration. She has definitely been a great addition to this family. 5 beautiful children, one completed aspiration and the money she has coming in every day for her published books will be sorely missed.

Mae has reached the level she needed to buy her very first voodoo doll. She has a really great evil laugh, I don’t feel like photos really capture how great it is.

Now the only question is who to bind the doll to…

Mwuahahaha!

Ahem sorry.

The next day Maci invites Milton to hang out. Thankfully Mae is busy trolling the forums.

Maci and Milton spend their time together in the pool, looking yet again a little awkward which is weird because they were actually getting on well and flirting…

 

In fact the pair soon shared their first kiss! Could you be a little more thrilled please Milton? At least look a little surprised like most sims do when they get their first kiss.

I think he must be camera shy because this boy is giving me nothing.

Soon the interaction “mess around” came up and I was curious. I haven’t seen this before. The two went running into the house and I have a bad feeling about where they are heading to…

Oh not your parents bed Maci! Your mother is due home from work soon and now she is an elder she gets very sleep at work now. Scary, I might die sleepy!

Oh don’t you worry Milton.. you just make yourself at home here. I am sure India will be delighted to share her bed with you.

“Uhh… I am feeling a little awkward just now.”

What’s new?

Joking aside me too Milton, me too.

“Just kidding, I feel like a stud!”

Where the heck did that come from? Obviously Milton needs a little “messing around” to come out of his shell.

“Fooling around in my parents bed and now we are boyfriend and girlfriend selfie #cute #notawkward #hot”

“Make sure you get my good side Maci, honey.”

“Shh don’t wake my mum Milton!”

The family outings just keep on coming!

Milton is at the park and has a smile on his face in one of my photos for once!

“Oh Maci, you were right. He is just dreamy.”

Milton chuckles. “You do know you said that out loud right?”

“Uh-huhh… just keep talking.”

Sidenote: Maci’s hair is such a struggle in photos sometimes! 😛

Before Molly starts drooling over her sisters boyfriend I sent her off to make some new friends. On her way to say hello to a random sim in the park she passes by her sister Mae.

“Oh hey Mae! Having fun? You will have to introduce me to your new friend sometime! See ya both later.”

“Muahahaha!”

“Oh dear lord please help me. Someone get this crazy lady away from me.”

Playing Mae and trying to complete the mischevious aspiration is not how I normally play my sims but I am finding it kind of fun…

MUAHAHAH.

Alright Mae, I think you have pestered the poor girl enough now. Time for your next victim and this angry lady stomping around is the perfect target!

Wait – what the?! Did she just? Did that just happen?

“I suppose you think you are funny huh?”

“Why yes actually, yes that was quite funny.”

“Oh you have messed with the wrong girl missy.”

“You are now my arch nemesis and I will avenge myself! Oh you are going to be sorry lady! I am going to get you when you least expect it.”

“Uh… look kid it was just a joke. I just did it before you could do it to me.”

“Oh no Baldy. You have started a war. You may have won this battle but this war is NOT OVER.”

The next day Jim invites around his next conquest; Mckenna.

Uh-oh is that Riley? Is she on to us?

She is definitely on to us.

“Oh hey babe, what a lovely surprise to see you here.”

“Hello boyfriend. What is she doing here?”

“Just a study dat- I mean study session. No dating, just studying.”

“Mhm you had better be telling me the truth… or else.”

Jim is freaked out by his creepy girlfriend (who is suddenly bald for some reason? I think it’s my outdoor retreat pack playing up) but that doesn’t stop him making a move with Mckenna.

Oh Molly move your big head!

Nevermind I am sure there are plenty more first kiss scenes to come for Jim.

But first it’s time for another party! It’s a pool party, everyone but the birthday boys in swimwear because they are boring.

Maci: “Woopee. Someone other than me growing up. I am so excited.”

Jim grows up and rolls the art lover trait.

“Oh hey Riley, I am so so sorry to break the news to you but now I am a young adult I can’t be your boyfriend anymore.”

“Don’t worry hunk, I am now a young adult too! We will be together forever.”

“Great.”

Next up is Rory. Don’t worry I haven’t forgotten you!

Rory rolls the foodie trait.

Naturally Mae (the one making the big splash) tries her best to annoy the guests.

“Let me stop you right there before I actually vomit Milton. You are making me nauseous.”

The one friend that Maci made when she was younger, Jamari, is now a teen! Hooray for more teens. He looks pretty cool in his leather jacket. Maybe one of Maci’s sister should meet him.

“Heh – you actually grew up pretty cute. Surprising from your dorky childhood.”

Jamari chuckling: “Huh – should I take that as a compliment?”

“Definitely, I do not give those out often.”

Will they or won’t they?

At the end of the birthday party Rory moves in with his Uncle Walter.

Only until I complete his aspiration! I am sorry Rory! You will be happier with Walter than in this madhouse.

And so ends the twins birthday party and this chapter.

The Doodle Legacy ~ Chapter 8

Welcome back to the Doodle Legacy! Last chapter ended with India giving birth to triplets! Three new baby girls named Maci, Mae and Molly. India looks how I felt when that third baby name popped up.

Jim immediately went to meet his new siblings and even had a happy moodlet about them! Could this boy get any cuter?!

The next couple of days went by in a bit of a speed 3 blur if I am honest. It was definitely a team effort by India and Ronan.

Walter Doodle also got roped into being a big help!

Rory and Jim enjoyed keeping the girls company which was adorable to watch.

“I finally have five minutes to myself to have a nice, relaxing bath and some ghost decides that now would be a really great time to ruin my day by breaking the sink. AGAIN.”

Poor India is slightly lacking on sleep.

“Sleep? What is sleep? I am sure I have heard that word before but I have not experienced it for a while.”

“Oh goodness I really need to pee but Maci WON’T STOP CRYING.”

I swear if these kids don’t stop crying I might throw my computer out the window. I am getting to the point where I can’t play with my headphones in.

YIPEE ITS BIRTHDAY TIME! I squealed with joy when the pop-up came up. Triplet babies and twin children is hard going!

First to age up is Molly who is in need of a slight makeover. She rolls the Loves the outdoors trait like her mother and the Artistic Prodigy aspiration.

Next up is Mae! Confident little Mae rolls the self-assured trait which is a new one for the Doodle Family. She also gets the Artistic Prodigy aspiration. I decide not to change her clothes just now.

Last but not least is Maci in an adorable pink dress. Maci rolls the Good trait which is sweet. She also gets the social butterfly aspiration… eh we will see about that one.

Maci really shows off her good trait stomping around the house angry at having siblings.

Maci then stomps over to the broken dollhouse to have a good cry. Everytime I look away from Ronan he does this!

And then everytime I make him repair it whilst he gets all tense due to his surroundings. When will he learn?

Despite his dollhouse breaking habit Ronan is a pretty sweet father and interacts with the children without getting mad.

In fact I even caught Ronan giving Jim an autonomous hug! It may look like he is trying to stay as far away as possible whilst hugging Jim but it counts!

Unfortunately with 5 children the house was getting pretty full and it was time to say goodbye to Uncle Walter. I felt a little guilty that he had no wife or kids but I have a secret feeling there is still something between him and elder Kassandra so they can be together in the mysterious “not in world” area.

Maci and Molly both received slight makeovers. Just new hair and a new top for Molly. I just wanted to use the outdoor retreat hair if I am honest.

I soon discovered that Maci is a complete chatterbox. Everytime the other kids try to do anything Maci comes for a chat.

“Maci… I am trying to do my homework. “

“Maci… we are trying to play a game of chess here. It takes a lot of concentration and we both have whiz kid aspirations to complete.”

Rejected Maci spends a weird amount of time mourning for Shawna, especially since I don’t think she even knew her. It’s sweet but odd.

With five children now in the house the place is getting pretty disgusting. Ronan’s squeamish trait is not helping. Whenever he walks into the dining room he gets red moodlets and if he tries to clean it up he gets more red moodlets. So I hired a maid.

A maid that never shows up. So Ronan still ends up doing the dishes.

Molly and Mae are working hard on their aspirations. They spend their time either drawing pictures or playing Violin.

The dollhouse is also a firm favourite with the girls. Well when they get to use it…

This is driving me nuts.

Molly also spends a lot of her time in her bed. I guarantee if there is someone taking a nap or being late for school it will be Molly. She doesn’t even have the lazy trait but she spends an unusual amount of time in her bed compared to her sisters.

It’s soon time for a special birthday – Ronan is going to be an adult! I had him bake a cake and set it on the table all rea- what the? Who ate some of the cake?!

A face that just doesn’t care.

“I am not even enjoying this cake, I just knew it would annoy you.”

A chocolate cake is quickly whipped up and the candles instantly put into it. It was at this point I realised all of the families friends must be dead as they have no-one to invite to parties anymore. Maybe I should let my sims go out more…

Nevertheless Ronan had a silver medal birthday party thanks to his brother, wife and five children showing up. He looks pretty much the same as before.

Walter comes around to visit often which is lovely. The kids all really like him too which is probably because he was very involved in ensuring they didn’t take taken by social services.

“Hey mister! Finally someone new to talk to! Wanna be best friends?!”

I wish she would put some trousers on before venturing outside.

Another familiar face to visit the Doodle Household is Shawna in her lovely ghost form! For once my ghosts are being friendly and not just breaking things which is great to see 😀

With the children all grown up and no plans for future babies India is free to work on her aspiration and job. She spends a large amount of her time in front of the computer writing novels.

Ronan is also working hard on his aspiration and career as a chef. He has now maxed the cooking skill and is close to maxing the gourmet cooking skill. He is only a couple promotions off completing the Cooking aspiration.

Rory and Jim have been pretty busy sims too. They do most things together – including completing their aspirations!

It was good timing too because it was soon time for the twins birthday! I sort of lost track of time meaning it was a very rushed birthday. A chocolate cake was quickly made and Rory was first up to make a wish.

A very serious looking sim. Rory rolls the – oops I can’t actually remember it so it can’t be anything exciting – trait and the musical genius aspiration. Not that exciting as I have already completed that aspiration with Shawna.

Rory then enthusiastically cheers on Jim as he blows out his candles on the same cake because I am lazy.

Glasses? Jim doesn’t wear glasses?

Jim rolls the Serial Romantic aspiration and… *big sigh* the child-hating trait. I might just sell that dollhouse.

A quick makeover and the boys are looking a little smarter. I think Rory looks a lot like his father Ronan whereas Jim looks more like his mother, India.

It was the weekend and so I decided it was a good time for an outing to make some new family friends. I decided to take them to park so the girls can play pirates forgetting that the child-ridden park will be torture for poor Jim – Oops!

Thankfully Jim was distracted from his hatred of children by the pretty teen playing chess alone. This is the first teen I have seen in the game since my founder generation which is exciting! I decided to delete some of the elders not in world to make room for some younger sims and I think it’s worked!

Whilst Jim flirted with the pretty teen and Rory played chess with random Sims, the girls played pirates.

Yes I am just including this photo as I think it’s cute! I love watching the children play pirates, it’s adorable.

Jim invites the pretty teen out on a date but they stay at the park since the triplets are there. They are soon feeling very flirty and Jim gets his very first kiss about a day into being a teenager haha!

Unfortunately I didn’t realise that I couldn’t send the rest of the family home whilst Jim is on his date. Of course Molly is the first to become very sleepy.

“MACI! I KNOW YOU ARE STILL TALKING TO THAT SMELLY BOY. STOP CHATTING AND GET BACK ON THE SHIP. THESE CANNONS WON’T FIRE THEMSELVES.”

Maci has made her first friend outside of the family – hooray!

“Boyfriend and girlfriend selfie! #boyfriend #girlfriend #cutecouple.”

Finally they can all go home! Molly looks like she is away to pass out.

 

Jim was cute with his new girlfriend but back at home he is a pain! As Ronan is the father of the triplets he doesn’t get angry red moodlets when around the girls. Jim on the other hand, being just their older brother, does get that red angry moodlet. He could have least waited until she was finished playing!

“Humpf this is totally not fair. I should be out meeting girls not fixing dollhouses.”

Jeez what a pout! So much teenage angst, I have no idea how I will cope when the girls age up – which isn’t that far away!

Molly and Mae have both managed to complete their childhood aspirations of artistic prodigy. Maci’s social butterfly aspiration will be quickly glossed over as she did not complete it – friends are overrated anyway!

And here is where I will end the chapter. The girls are now ready to age up so next chapter there will be a party, teenage photos and an heir poll! I have no idea how I am going to cope with 5 moody teenagers!
